Don't miss this opportunity to share in a tradition loved by Berkley residents as well as surrounding communities. The Holiday Lights Parade will take place on December 1st at 5:30 p.m. down 12 Mile Road and will conclude at City Hall with the official welcome of Santa and the Tree Lighting Ceremony. The Rogers Rockettes (a group of Rogers Elementary teachers) will also be performing at the Gazebo after the parade. To finish off this festive day, Farina's Banquet Center on Coolidge will be hosting a holiday dinner following the parade activities. Details of the events/activities will be posted on the "Events Calendar" on our web site as they are finalized.
The Berkley Holiday Committee has been busy planning events to make this a fun filled day for all. You can help them by being a parade sponsor. For $250 you can have a banner with your business name in the parade. Contact Barb Collins by November 16th for more details. 248-321-6355.
The Berkley Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a trolley
from 2-5 p.m. We will be offering FREE trolley rides to promote shopping and dining in the downtown district. If you would like to have a Trolley Stop at your business let us know. We will have caroling and goody bags on the trolley. This is a great day to have a store special, free cocoa and cookies, giveaways, etc. Let us know by November 23rd what you are doing in your business so we can help you promote it. We are also looking for trinkets, candy, coupons, etc. to put into the goody bags for the Trolley. Email events@berkleychamber.com or call (248) 414-9157.
Happy Holidays!
