The MICHIGAN PROPERTY MANAGERS Challenge Cup Golf Outing will look quite a bit different than our previous golf outings and will provide everyone the experience of playing in what looks and feels like a Ryder Cup.

Foursomes accustomed to playing in a scramble will remain as teammates but will be combined with other golfers to comprise an estimated 4 teams. Each team will be made up of 10-12 golfers identified by matching colored team shirts.

Golfers will play a 2-person scramble in matches against two-somes from other teams. Each match will be 9-holes of "head to head" competition. The goal is to win the match and contribute a point in the team's quest to win the Challenge Cup!  This tournament is designed for all skill levels to enjoy!

Rackham Golf Course, 10100 W. Mile Rd., Huntington Woods, MI. Registration begins at 8:00AM/ Shot-gun start at 9:00AM.

Individual, Foursome, and Sponsorship Packages available.  Each includes 18 holes of golf w/ cart, lunch at the turn, sit down dinner at O'Mara's Restaurant following golf, golf shirt, hole contest, putting contest, raffle prizes, and more...

A portion of the proceeds from each golfer will be donated to our Charity Partner, The Berkley Education Foundation.

The Annual CruiseFest t-shirt will be on sale beginning August 1st.   Shirts will be available in businesses and the evening of CruiseFest at the Berkley Marquee August 19th. 

Berkley CruiseFest plans are in the works!

Mark your calendar and plan to be on 12 Mile Road on August 19th. 

Both the CruiseFest and Dream Cruise will offer the opportunity to promote and market your business, not only to local residents, but to the many other guests that will visit our community from the surrounding areas during the week-end.  All Berkley Businesses are encouraged to participate in day long sidewalk sales which are of no cost to you.  The evening activities will include:  The Classic Car Parade at 5:30 p.m. followed by music, street dancing and food until 11pm.  We will be there selling the Annual CruiseFest t-shirts so stop by the marquee to purchase yours.

Any businesses interested in donating a giveaway item (coupon, trinket, etc.) with your business name, the CruiseFest committee is making up bags to give to all the car parade participants.  There will be approximately 400 cars participating. Feel free to donate any amount desired of your item.  Please email events@berkleychamber to make arrangements for pick up.

Presented by the Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center (MI-SBTDC).

A Forum on Small Business Lending - Before you apply for a business loan, we recommend that you first attend the SBA Forum on Small Business Lending. This is a free loan orientation conducted by a business banker, a business consultant from the SBA’s network of Small Business Development Centers, and an SBA representative. You'll learn how the lending process works and what is expected of you and you'll understand how the SBA can assist with our SBA Guaranteed Loan Program. This session is best suited to those who have good credit, a solid business idea, and some money to invest in their business. Because the SBA does not provide loan guarantees to real estate investment firms, including purchasing and rehabbing houses for sale, this type of financing is not discussed at the roundtables.

Social Media Marketing Part 3 - Advanced Social Media: Create and Launch your Social Media Campaign.
