Multi-Chamber Networking Events in 2012

This year we have partnered with the other South Oakland Chambers to bring our members joint networking events.  Each Chamber has selected a month during the year to host an event for the 5 local Chambers...Berkley, Clawson, Ferndale, Madison Heights/Hazel Park and Royal Oak.  Details of each event will be provided as the date get closer but mark your calendar and watch for details so you don't miss this awesome opportunity.

Back to School means Back to Work for many of us. Ease back into it by joining us for a unique outdoor Coffee Connection hosted by Comcast Business Class at their Royal Oak location (we'll move inside if it rains). This Cross-Chamber Coffee Connection will connect members from the Ferndale Area, Royal Oak, Madison Heights/Hazel Park, Berkley, Clawson and Southfield Area Chambers helping to make new connections, strengthen relationships and pave the way for a successful Fall. Attendees will have a chance to present a 20 second "commercial", as well as, have time for open networking.

This Coffee Connection is free to members of the above Chambers and to first time guests. Please note the start time has been pushed back to 8:30 am to assist those getting their kids off for their first day back to school. To make it easier on our host, please RSVP by emailing events@ferndalechamber.com and referencing Sept 6.

Join us Wednesday, November 17th for a Chamber Chat.  This is an informal networking event designed to give members and prospective members the opportunity to get to know one another.  Each attendee will have the opportunity to introduce the group to his/her business.

Chamber members can also pick up their Office Depot discount card to start saving on all your office needs.

Seeking hosts for our coffees and after-hours

Wouldn’t it be great to start your day with some delicious coffee and great conversation with friends before you head to work?  Or, maybe stopping for some cocktails and appetizers before the commute home?  Our networking program is just that, “Chamber Chats” and “Berkley Blenders”! The “Chamber Chats” are morning coffees and the “Berkley Blenders” are after-hours events.  There are no set formats or discussion topics for these events.  The goal is to simply provide our members with the opportunity to get to know each other and our businesses - nothing more, nothing less. 

We are currently seeking businesses that would like to host a Chamber Chat or Berkley Blender . If you are interested please send an email to events@berkleychamber.com. There is an opportunity for one Chat and one Blender each month.

The sponsoring member can highlight their business by spending a few moments to discuss their services, do a demonstration, provide a tour or provide literature and/or coupons. This is a great way to introduce and show off your business!
