Tri- Community Coalition Golf Outing

Join the Tri-Community Coalition for the 11th Annual Golf Classic on June 26th.

Funding from the event will support the Y.O.U. Youth Coalition. Enjoy a great day of golf at the beautiful Heather Highlands Golf Club in Holly, MI.  The event will include a 4-person scramble, lunch at the turn, steak dinner, and an awards reception following golf. Another awesome Cruisefest!!!!  The committee did an awesome job planning and organizing the event and it was great to see Downtown Berkley with crowds of people. Make sure to view the photo album to see pictures from Cruisefest 2008.

The cruisefest t-shirts were also a huge hit...people came far and wide to get their annual shirt.  Thank you to our sponsors, the businesses that sold them, Armadillo for printing them, the Print Stop for making posters, and our volunteers who sold them Friday night.  We appreciate you all supporting the Chamber of Commerce.

A Future Leader is Recognized by the Chamber

The Berkley Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Berkley High School's Cooperative Education Program recognized the 2008 "Co-Op Student of the Year", Kyla George, on May 14th at the Annual Co-Op Luncheon.  Kyla received this year's award for her outstanding efforts and achievements while employed with Birmingham Wellness Center.  Kyla was described by her manager and co-workers as "has a 'can-do' attitude, a real team player, wonderful asset to the practice, eager to tackle new projects, and has a fantastic work ethic."  Kyla was chosen from among 4 other hard working, qualified candidates. 

Congratulations to Kyla George for all her hard work!

Congratulations to our "Best of Berkley" Winners!
