This exciting new program is designed for new and seasoned performers who are ready for a comprehensive vocal, dance and dramatic performance based program. Throughout the 8 month process--students develop trusting relationships and a strong group ethic which enables them to learn and create

The Gypsy Payers will perform locally at various events—making their official debut at DayDream’s Character Tea in December. After the holiday break, students will rehearse for a variety of performance projects including a competition piece for New York City Voices on Broadway.
New York City Voices on Broadway ---Make Your Broadway debut with the cast of West Side Story in one fantastic Curtain Call! The Gypsy Players will join with the West Side Story cast in a grand finale at the
Friday night performance at the Palace Theatre.
The Gypsy Players season runs from September through June.
It includes Drama, Vocal and Dance Intensive classes as well as
production rehearsals and special workshops.

The Oakland Brass Band was founded in 2006 by several local musicians with the desire to provide Detroit area professional and semi-professional musicians with an outlet for expressing their talent through the brass band style and heritage. By October, 2006, a Board of Directors was created, non-profit status was sought for the organization and a list of interested musicians was developed. The Oakland Brass Band is now in its third concert season. Oakland Brass band is a proud member of the Association of Concert Bands and Berkley Chamber of Commerce.
